At the Opening Ceremony, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Linh, Director of Thai Binh provincial Department of Home Affairs, cum Standing Vice Chairman of the Civil Servant Recruitment Examination Board of Thai Binh province in year 2014, has announced the Decisions ofEstablishment of the Civil Servant Recruitment Examination Board and subordinate units for supporting the examination.
In the opening remarks in the Civil Servant Recruitment Examination of Thai Binh province in 2014, Mr. Pham Van Ca, Vice Chairman of Thai Binh Provincial People Committee, cum Chairman of the Civil Servant Recruitment Examination Board of Thai Binh province said thaton implementing the direction guided by the Standing Committeeof the Party Executive Committee of Thai Binh province, the Provincial People Committee has set up civil servant recruitment plan in 2014 for the Party agencies and unions at provincial level and district level; and to recruit civil servants for state administrative agencies at provincial level, district level and communal level for the province. The documents related to the computer-based recruitment examination have been publically posted on the provincial Portal, mass media and announced to various organizations and units; accordingly, all citizens who meet conditions and criteria are eligible to register into the examination. This civil servant recruitment examination in 2014 is featured by the new point, which requires candidates to take part in three computer-based multiple-choice tests, comprising of a specialized subject test, a computer using test, and an English test. The information about the Recruitment Examination has been publicly announced in the provincial Portal and all candidates have been provided with notices of examination schedule and each computer-based examination session. Concurrently, instructions on doing examination and trial-testing practices have been all provided under the guidance of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The contestants know their test scores immediately after the end of that testing subject. Test scores are marked on a scale of 100. Those candidates successfully achieve the score from 50 or having higher scoresare allowed to enter the next round of written tests, which comprises of two tests comprising one test on general political administrative knowledge and the other on professional knowledge and skills. The written tests are held on the coming 9th September.
In order to ensure the exam to be seriously, objectively, safely taken and following legal provisions, Mr. Pham Van Ca requested the Civil Servant Recruitment Examination Council Board and supporting units to work properly under the examination regulations, and recommended the candidates to strictly abide by competition regulations and keep good spirit and confidence to achieve the highest results.

Shortly after the Opening Ceremony, from the 6th to 8th September, the contestants participated in the civil servant recruitment examination held for the Party organizations, unions and state administrative agencies at provincial level, district level and communal level have conducted computer-based examination comprising a specialized subject test, a computer using test, and an English test. The Civil Service Recruitment Examination of Thai Binh province in 2014 attracted a total number of 3,434 candidates registering into 504 seats, including 121 applicants competed into 21 seats for working in Party organizations, 1,124 applicants into 122 seats for working in state administrative agencies at provincial level and district level; 1,149 applicants into 361 seats for working in state administrative agencies at communal level.
